I believe that all department stores that have Women's sections should include lingerie and trendy clothes. We,women of size, should be able to have something trendy and sexy i our size.

I love my body and am proud to be a plus size woman. I prefer to shop at plus size clothing stores for I feel that store was made especially for me. I feel comfortable seeing other people in the store that are my size too. Don't like shopping online for I want to see the item and try it on first. I also don't want to pay S & H charges. I love to show off my curvy self and have fun shopping with my friends. The market is much better now for plus size women and is really taking off. Women should be proud of who they are and what they look like and never care what other people have to say.

I voted to have plus sizes incorporated or included right along regular sizes. I feel that people will only learn to accept those of us with curves if they are forced to view us as "regular" just like they are. Why should I have to walk over to the deep, dark abyss of the plus size clothing area only to find expensive clothes that are poorly constructed from cheap material, horrendous colors and cuts that are about as interesting as a box of pet rocks? I do shop at specialty stores like Lane Bryant and Torrid because they have what I'm looking for - style and quality at a fairly reasonable price - but why shouldn't I have the ability to shop in GAP right along with everyone else? I mean, the GAP does carry clothing in sizes up to 20 but they only sell sizes 16-20 via their website. To me, the GAP is trying to insinuate that "regular" sized customers would be repulsed by curvy shoppers. Well, my take is that if my money is green or my credit is good enough for them to accept as payment for my purchases, I should have access to the same shopping experience. I don't want to be forced to shop online because I know that everything doesn't fit well even if I buy according to my size. Why must I be inconveienced with shipping, handling and return postage fees? I firmly believe that those of us with curves will only be accepted if we demand respect in every arena and sometimes it takes us being insistent that we are normal, beautiful and just as sexy as our "regular" sized counterparts. I'm proud of my curves and I'm not going to pretend like I don't have them just to make someone else feel comfortable.

I'd like the plus size clothes to be somewhere near the accessories--I don't want to be viewed suspiciously when I try to match a top to a bag or a scarf. The worst offender in this case is a Sears (in a mall I don't shop at anymore due to mall policies)--the plus sizes are on the second floor, while the accessories, shoes, etc. are on the first floor.

I'd also like there to be some recognition that not all plus size women are the same height--I know, I know, I can hem, but the crotch is in the wrong place and it looks WRONG.

Hello everyone,
I get really discouraged when I go shopping to only see my clothes near the Maternity section, in which I would like to add that most maternity tops are nicer than the plus size tops! I don't understand why thinner women get nice clothes, and then pregnant women have nicer tops to embrace their beautiful stomachs! Why can't I have a nice top to embrace my beautiful curves? No, I get to stand in the back next to the big frumpy clothes section, that either have big bold colors or prints. I have started to complain to the dept managers when I go shopping. I ask why is this not in my size? Or Hey I like this but it's not available in Plus Size. Shopping should be fun, but it's not always fun when your full-figured. Why can't we get the same exact clothes as the skinny girls? Why are we excluded? Why don't we have more magazines that feature women like us? I could go on and on with this!!
Okay I hope this helps!
