Question:

When getting to the heart of dating and curves, we have found that men fall into 2 categories, the “Secure” and the “Insecure” varieties. Secure men look for love that completes them mind, body and soul. The insecure variety looks only for love that completes his wardrobe in the form of “Arm Candy.”

Where are you in a relationship, what kind of men do you attract and why?

Choices:
I attract “Secure” men. They adore my curves and can’t keep their hands off of me.
I am attracted to “Insecure Men.” They may give me the “Once over,” but ultimately feel as if they have to have size 2 “ Arm Candy” in order to feel like a man.
I have found the love of my life and we complete each other mind, body and soul.
I have found love, but my partner still feels the necessity to criticize me for my curves.

I'm extremely lucky to have found love twice. I was on the brink of committing suicide when I met my first love online. When we first met and touched it was like a bolt of lightning going through me. He died of lung cancer in 2001, ten months after we met. He is my soul mate.
A couple years later, a friend and I hooked up. I was terrified, but I'm so happy I took that step. He worships the ground I walk on and I worship him as well. We've been together for three wonderful years and I am so grateful to know I am so loved by two men in my life.

I haven't been extremely lucky yet. I have had only a few short-lived relationships. But I don't think my size or shape has ever been an issue as to why any of them ended.

I have had feelings of insecurity about it at times. When a relationship ended recently, I asked a good male friend if he thought maybe my ex had an issue with my size. And he replied, "You silly thing. I know who was the lovlier in the picture you sent me of you two. He's the fool who didn't realize how lucky he was."

I wouldn't say I'm in love just yet, but I'm having so much fun getting there. On my search for Mr. Right, I have found that it best to judge men by these five catagories:
Spirituality
Personality
Physicality(Appearance)
Stability
And lets not forget Sexuality
Pick and choose which ones are important to you, but they need to have a least three to have a chance with me. It's okay to love and be loved ladies, but don't settle for less unless you can live with your choice. Thank You

'A' is good, but 'A+' is better!!!

Some time after my first love died, a good friend told me to write down all of the things I need in a mate on one side of a sheet of paper and on the other side write down my wants. I wasn't even looking for anyone at the time because I was still grieving (it gets better, but I think you always grieve for those you love and lose). Intelligence, a sense of humor, non-smoking, spiritual were all things I knew I needed. Someone who loves Shakespeare as much as I do, chocolate, and ice cream went in the wants. When my darling lover first asked me to go with him, I was scared and nearly said no until I looked at that list of needs and realized he fit every one of them!
