I'm more than lucky in love, I'm blessed in love. My husband and I were both 20 when we married. I've always know that my hips and killers legs were larger than life. So I searched for big boys who wanted women with a little meat on their bones. Not sloppy sides of beef, but real genuine men with real outlooks on life and most importantly real outlooks about women. And now after 14 years of marriage and 4 kids, he still thinks I'm a Princess. He told me so just two weeks ago. He even still gets mildly jeolous when another man smiles at me to hard. I got married at 21 to my highschool sweetheart. 4 months into the marriage he cheated and I left him. I loved him so much but knew I could not be with someone that did not respect me and the commitment that marriage represents.

I dated for seven years - all races, sizes and walks of life. I had good experiences and bad ones but from them I was able to know myself better.

I decided to move to FL and leave NY but three months before I was to leave a freelance photographer emailed me about a TFP. That was 4 years ago. I had vowed to never even entertain the thought of being a photographer because of all the beautiful women he spends time with and after all I had been through in my first marriage it was something I did not want to do but our connection was so strong that I stepped out on faith that what we had was real.

I have never regretted staying in NY to get to know him better and eventually marry. This May we will be married two years.

I have a great man in my life. He loves all of me; mind, body, and soul. He is warm, sensative, and most importantly honest. We don't validate each other. Instead we compliment each other, bringing piece of mind to one another on the crazy days life throws our way. He found me when I was broken and battered, during the worst depression I had ever experienced, and showed me how to fix and heal myself. He opened up my heart, earned my trust, and showed me how to ask for help when I needed it, instead of burning mysef out again trying to be superwoman. And in return I was able to show him the same thing while he was trying to be superman for me. He is the air I breathe and the blood in my veins. He is my life and I am his. I wouldn't be here if he hadn't saved my life. So glad I am here so I can thank him everyday.

I got married after dating a variety of different types when I was 23. We split up five years later very amicably and have a son together, and remain close friends. At that point I was not the curvy woman I am today. I was a size 4. I met an exciting, spontaneous man who shared my excitement for living and we have been together for 11 years now. When we got together I was that same size 4, 5'9.5" and 120 lbs. Since then I am now a size 14 and about 70 lbs. heavier. My size has never been an issue, skinny or curvy. He has always loved me for me and not for my size.

In 2/05 I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and he has been my rock and support, not to mention a wonderful stepfather to my son.

I am very blessed!

Lucky in love? When it comes to matters of the heart, I do believe we are never lucky to have been loved or be loved. To be lucky implies some element of surprise or chance, as if that person could not be expected to achieve that which they have. I believe that we are all worthy of love. I believe that each of us having been created from an immaculate and perfect mold are indeed deserving of the one human emotion that transcends language barriers and cultural norms. The power of love is greater than any other human emotion. It can end wars, soothe our hearts and give us hope. The span of our waist, the wrinkle in our brow, that which in our own eye seems to be so flawed in no way lessens or devalues our worthiness to be loved. What a beautiful and incredible thing love is. We can not be lucky in love, but simply, lucky to love.
