I spent much of my 20's looking for any guy that would pay attention to me. It didn't produce a cast of good "boyfriends". But, I felt like I needed to somehow feel validated, that despite my curves, I could get a man's attention, which I then instantly translated to LOVE. All my girlfriends had been in long time relationships, or had no problem getting the attention of a guy. I was just too insecure.

In my 30's I have come to love my curves, and who I am as a woman. How ironic my life has become. Now, at 33, I am having fun enjoying the company of a few men and the farthest thing from my mind is tagging one as THE ONE, and settling down. I feel like I am on the path to finding him, but for right now, I am having fun. I love the list that Favian suggests. And I totally agree, women should never settle. If he isn't what you want, don't try to make him what you want. It won't happen!

Viva La Curves!

I found the love of my life 12 years ago while in Seminary in New York. We where both studying to become Pastors. First was friendship then friendship grew to real love. Now we have being married for almost 10 years!!! I thank God for the miracle of love!!

Am I lucky in love? Absolutely! I have been blessed to have stumbled upon true love twice. Each time has been different yet I have come away with newness of life. I have grown as a person and lover thru my willingness to commit to understanding my mate and having patience to endure until the end. And my curviness has only heightened the intensity of our intimacy. The Fourth of July has nothing on me because I am in love with me!

I feel blessed and, yes, very lucky in love! After a 10 year marriage to my high school sweetheart went sour (he drank and was not a nice drunk), I have found a wonderful man that loves me at any size. It has been much harder for me to embrace my curves that it has been for him. I think as women, we are sometimes so focused on ourselves that we dont see how happy a man can be with a curvy girl!

My true love passed away 13 years ago. Unfortuntely I haven't been in love since, but I am grateful to have gone through some of the great relationships I've had. Am I lucky? Sometimes, but lucky in love....I will be....someday.
